Past and Present RacingVincent Builds and Restorations - or just picture galleries along the way
As well as the enjoyement of riding bikes - both modern and old; my main passion has always been rebuilding and restoring old bikes - something that goes back to the 1960's, growing up with a father that had bikes, and liked collecting or building more! However, I am a slow worker, and often get distracted by other things - so what follows is a collection of Build, Restoration, or just Tinkering articles that go back the last 20 yeasrs or so. Some projects are longer term than others - so dont assume I wont at some time be following up with a further update, but other builds are now complete and the bikes are enjoyed and in use

- TT Replica Build
A suprise buy at a 2016 Bonhams auction - this belt drive Douglas 2 3/4hp (350cc) model was purchased about 70% complete, and very rough. It has been built to 'loosely' resemble the racing Douglas's that were so succesful pre-war - including winning the 1912 Junior TT.
Douglas ArticlesSpares are not common for 100 year old bikes - so since 2016 I have introduced a Douglas section to our online catalog here, for the parts we now make:
